SBI PO Prelims Result 2023

The State Bank of India (SBI) has recently announced the results of the SBI PO Prelims exam for the recruitment of Probationary Officers. Candidates who appeared in the examination can now check their results on the official website of SBI. The SBI PO Prelims exam was held on July 23 and 24 and a total of 5,019 candidates have qualified the exam. Now, these candidates will be eligible to appear for the SBI PO Main Exam which is scheduled to be held on August 31. The SBI PO Prelims exam is divided into three sections- English Language, Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning Ability. Each section had a total of 30 questions and the total time allotted for the exam was 60 minutes. The overall difficulty level of the exam was moderate. The results of the SBI PO Prelims exam are based on the cut off marks which have been declared by SBI. The cut off marks are the minimum marks that a candidate needs to secure in order to qualify the exam. The SBI PO Main Exam will be conducted in two phases- Objective Test and Descriptive Test. The Objective Test will consist of four sections- Reasoning and Computer Aptitude, Data Analysis and Interpretation, General/Economy/Banking Awareness and English Language. The total time allotted for this test will be 3 hours and the total marks would be 200. The Descriptive Test will consist of English Language (Letter Writing & Essay). The total time allotted for this test will be 30 minutes and the total marks would be 50. SBI will be releasing the call letters for the SBI PO Main Exam soon on its official website. Candidates are advised to keep checking the website for further updates. The SBI PO Main Exam will be conducted in the month of September and the results of the same will be declared in the month of October. Candidates who qualify the SBI PO Main Exam will be shortlisted for the final selection process. The results of the SBI PO Prelims exam are a major step in the recruitment process of Probationary Officers and thus, will set the tone for the rest of the recruitment process.
